Nice tidy motel off the interstate with a great owner that cleans the entire place herself.

The room smelled like old smoke and was very dirty. It was a bed to sleep in, but nothing more than that. They need to upgrade these rooms

We liked that this hotel had suites with King beds, and a separate bedroom. Unfortunately the bedroom had a glass door with an odd see thru curtain which didn't provide privacy for changing, or overnight. The room smelled quite musty and the carpet seemed damp. In the washroom the ceiling above the shower was damaged, as were the walls in a few areas. We appreciated the amount of space in the room, but thought the hotel needs a refresh. The pool area was quite warm as soon as you walked in- like a mild sauna. The pool is the warmest pool I think I have ever entered- which has pros and cons. We appreciated the pool was open early, and stayed open until midnight. As for breakfast, the options were more limited than other hotels we have stayed at for much less money. There weren't any good protein options in our opinion- no meat, greek yogurt etc. For warm options there was biscuits and a white gravy or make your own waffles. We asked and they brought out some folded egg patties- but they seemed to be dumped frozen into the heating dish, so may have been an option for diners an hour or so after we ate. At the price level charged it would be nice to have warm meat and egg options, and muffins / pastries for those who enjoy them. Overall this is not the worst hotel we have stayed at, but the stay would have been improved with some attention to the facility and TLC. We felt the price was high for the quality of experience, and could be better.
